While the curriculum at RMCAD is rigorous, you'll have some flexibility when it comes to how you approach earning your Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) here. With different types of classes, a year-round scheduling option and the new BFA Price Guarantee program, your specific experience at the school will depend a lot on you.

Year-Round Learning

RMCAD operates on a trimester schedule, with a full compliment of classes available during the fall, spring and summer. Many of our students say that taking summer courses was one of the best things they did at RMCAD. Generally smaller in size, these classes allow even more interaction with faculty and fellow students. Plus, if you take a full credit load in all three terms, you can complete your BFA in just three years.

Save Time, Save Money

Another advantage to year-round scheduling is our new BFA Price Guarantee program. If you take a full-time schedule (at least 12 credits) each term including summers, you'll keep the same tuition rate throughout your time at RMCAD. Your locked tuition rate will only expire when you enroll in or pass fewer than 12 credits in any term, take a term off, or graduate. If and when it does expire, your new rate will change to the current rate for students just entering RMCAD and is subject to increase each academic year from that point forward.

By maintaining continuous, full-time enrollment, you can:

• save an estimated $12,500 or more in tuition—not including the interest saved or principal paid on loans
• save on college living expenses, such as housing and food
• enter the workforce earlier and start earning money sooner
