Tuition Rates

Tuition includes all lab and facility fees.

You can enroll in classes after all financial aid paperwork is complete.

Avoid Tuition Increases: BFA Price Guarantee

We offer a price guarantee that locks your tuition rate as long as you maintain continuous full-time enrollment (minimum 12 credit hours per term).

If you take advantage of this program, you'll not only spend less on tuition but you'll earn your BFA in 3 years or less and enter the workforce earlier.

The guaranteed rate will expire and you will have to pay current rates each term if/when:

  • you enroll for fewer than 12 credits in any given term, including summer terms
  • you take a term off
  • you graduate

All new students are encouraged to take advantage of this program.

Application Fee

There is a one-time application processing fee of $50 paid when you submit your application.

Books and Supplies

  • $600 - $800 typical cost per term for a full-time student

Each student is required to furnish his/her own books and supplies for completion of each course. Many students purchase a computer to assist in their studies. See the Technology Page for recommendations.

Health Insurance

Students not otherwise insured are enrolled in RMCAD’s student health insurance plan. $910 per term for a full-time student for the 2009-2010 academic year. Summer term is free if you are enrolled during the spring term.

Flex Payment Plans

All students are required to pay their tuition bills online via the e-Cashier payment service, a division of FACTS Business Solutions for Education.

You'll need to enroll the first time you use the system which will require your student ID#. Your number is printed on all official documents from the College as well as on your Student ID Card.

Assuming the paperwork was completed on time, your estimated financial aid will be reflected in the system. Please review the details on the e-Cashier website to find more information about how financial aid awards are handled.
