Her interactive works utilize performance, education, and sculptural objects to create community awareness and to promote a sense of duty and citizenship. Pike has been teaching at the college level for eight years with an emphasis on studio arts, community outreach, and collaboration. With a ten-year exhibition record including Art Basel 2007 and The Contemporary Art Museum of Tampa, her large-scale outdoor work is featured in the permanent collection at the Children’s Museum of Tampa and at RMCAD. Under the direction of William Pope L., Pike performed on a national tour of The Black Factory later inspiring her creation of the bARTer collective.
