Randy Brown is a Denver-based artist, arts activist and educator who has worked and exhibited Denver and nationally for more than 30 years. He is an-eight year member of the fine arts faculty at RMCAD. Brown currently teaches a diverse, yet focused course load that includes basic photography and photography II and contemporary digital portraiture. Both of these classes are traditional, darkroom-based courses and include the use of 35mm SLR, Holga, Pinhole, Medium Format, 4X5, 8X10 and experimental hand-made cameras. Brown has received the Indonesian Documentary Project Honorarium at the University of Denver; Curators Stipend from the Invisible Museum; Museum of Outdoor Arts Exhibit Stipend; and Fellowship at The MacDowell Colony for the Arts.
