“As a serious educator and researcher, my goal is to advance the practice and science of educational theories and usage of technology and innovation in learning environments by ensuring that educators have the passion and training to use media and technology to inspire students and publishing sound research that advances the field of instructional design.” I have over a decade of experience in eclectic applications of instructional design and educational technology. I trained, designed and developed technologies for education including games, simulations, distance learning, collegiate educational programs, and a variety of technologies. I have published in national and international journals and presented at numerous conferences on topics that include distance learning and simulations. I read, network, and discuss current trends and issues in K12, higher education and other aspects of instructional design and technology. My goal as a teacher is to allow my students to develop their acumens and passions for teaching and learning.
