Dr. Schliemann is a broadly trained ecologist with interests in biogeochemistry, microbiology, invasive plant dynamics, and ecosystem ecology. Her research investigates nutrient cycling, with an emphasis on the relationships between soil, microbes, and plant communities. Dr. Schliemann's research experience includes work in Colorado, Oregon, California, Wisconsin, and Michigan. She has been teaching at the RMCAD since 2011.
