Registration Policies

Your completed registration form and registration fee is due at time of registration. If paying by check or money order please make payable to RMCAD. We will process your registration upon receipt of payment.

If you register online and do not receive a written confirmation within one week please contact the Continuing Education office.

Refunds and Withdrawal

Refunds will not be given if requested after the start of class. No exceptions.

RMCAD reserves the right to alter its curriculum, cancel courses or change faculty without prior notice when circumstances warrant. All Continuing Education programs are subject to a minimum enrollment. If your program is canceled by RMCAD for any reason, a full refund will be issued.

CE students assume the risk of change in their personal schedule or health. RMCAD cannot be held responsible for classes missed due to conflicts in an individual's schedule. If a student withdraws up to ten days before the program starts (excluding the Art + Design Summer Camps and Workshops), full refunds less a $50 nonrefundable registration fee are given by check. After that time, but before the program begins, a CE credit will be issued for withdrawals.

Refunds are Credit for Future Classes

If you withdraw up to ten days before the beginning of the program CE credits will be issued that can be applied toward future CE classes.

CE students must contact the Continuing Education office in writing prior to the start of class regarding all withdrawals. CE instructors and/or other RMCAD departments are not authorized to issue refunds or CE credits. CE credits will be given in the amount of registration less the $50 nonrefundable registration fee. If the registration fee is less than $50 no CE credits will be given. Refunds will not be given after the start of a program.

Due to student confidentiality, only a registered CE student (or their parent or guardian in the case of a Minor) can request refunds. In all other cases family members, spouses and or partners may not request refunds for registered CE students.

Different Dates for Summer Camps

Students enrolled in a summer Art + Design Art Academy camp or workshop who wish to withdraw from the program must do so 60 business days prior to the start of their program to receive a full refund less the $150 deposit. After 60 days, no refunds will be issued.

No Transcripts or Financial Aid for CE Classes

Transcripts will not be established for students of non-credit courses. CE students taking non-credit courses do not qualify for financial aid.
