Philosophy of Art + DesignIn this second and final course in freshman reading and writing, students explore major paradigms of aesthetic theory. Building upon the work of WO 1020, WO 1060 challenges students to greater complexity of thought and greater competency in verbal and written argumentation. Together, WO 1020 and WO 1060 provide the foundations for the rest of the Liberal Studies curriculum.

Written + Oral Communication LabWritten and Oral Communication Lab is designed to promote student success in college. By focusing on strategies and skills critical to academic progress and to personal adjustment, students become successful in college and throughout adult life. Six major topics such as research methods and are addressed within the Lab curriculum.
