Class Description: 
This senior-level filmmaking course is designed to simulate a real production studio environment, in which students work together to produce a high-quality short film. Using skill sets learned in previous courses, students develop an idea, write the script, produce a storyboard, and design the look and feel of the animation. The remainder of the course focuses on completion of the animation production and post-production, including character animation, effects animation, rendering, editing, and final sound. Students experience the importance of successful leadership and team member interactions, and learn the value of cooperation for achieving a goal. At the conclusion of the course, the collective team will have successfully completed a film suitable for entry into film festivals.
