With emphasis on personal style, expressive approaches, and employing both the draped and undraped model, this course continues the anatomical, constructive, and compositional ideas introduced in IL 2650 Life Painting I. Oils and acrylics are the primary materials used in this painting course. At the end of this course, the student will have a portfolio of paintings of the model in and out of costume, demonstrating a firm grasp of a variety of techniques in oil painting. Prerequisites: IL 2650 Life Painting I
