Perspective is a foundation drawing course in the second term of the freshman year, required for Illustrators, and available as an elective for all other students. Applicable to the necessary skills of Animators, Illustrators and Interior Designers, the goal for this course is to establish a basic knowledge necessary for advanced perspective drawing through a series of lectures, demonstrations, exercises and studio projects. At the completion of this course, students will have finished a series of drawing projects that show the application of one-, two- and three-point perspective, and that require the student to substantiate their mastery of the principles involved in accurate three-dimensional construction from a particular viewpoint. Prerequisites: FD 1275 Drawing I
