Scott also teaches High School Animation and High School Portfolio Development workshops. In addition to teaching, Scott also runs his own animation production studio, Pencil Test Theater with his wife Brandy.

Prior to starting his own company, Scott was a freelance artist working as a traditional animator, graphic designer, illustrator and musician for companies such as Epic MegaGames, IJL Creations and Holiday Creations.
