You can find beauty, dramatic lighting and inspiring compositions in the urban landscapes of your own city. With a focus on the urban landscape, you will paint on location in the Denver Metro area.

Advanced Adobe Illustrator CS3 WorkshopIn this advanced workshop, you will focus on mastering the “Mesh” tool, a component of Illustrator used to make two dimensional objects look three dimensional. With this tool, you will learn how to use gradations of tone and color to give the impression of depth within a two dimensional image. This workshop is project oriented and will finish with a group critique.

Advanced Adobe InDesign CS3 WorkshopIn this Advanced InDesign Workshop we will focus on mastering techniques for print production using updated and new features in CS3. We will begin the workshop by going over features, tips and tricks, and customized techniques based upon the students experiences. During the second day a design challenge will be issued based upon the previous lesson.Class
Introduction to Adobe Dreamweaver CS3Using the most current version of Dreamweaver, in this introductory course you will learn techniques for designing, building, and maintaining successful web sites. Topics and themes covered will include user-centered design, on-line brand identity, and designing information architecture.Class
Typographic DesignIn this course you will study typeface classifications and sizes, letter spacing, line spacing, column structures and grid systems. The course begins with basic manipulation of typeforms using traditional materials and then proceed to computer-generated projects using InDesign. To better succeed, you should have experience or be familiar with InDesign. This course can be repeated if desired.Class
Graphic Design + Print MediaThis course focuses on graphic design principles, elements and methodology. Topics include: anatomy of visual form, simplification, typography, sequence, composition, and basic graphic communication theory. Projects are designed to build sound conceptual thinking and practical expertise by making use of brainstorming, sketching, visual diagramming, and computer generated imagery.Class
