Like All Other, Like Some Other, Like None Other is a group exhibition featuring fifteen Denver-based artists. The exhibition title references anthropologist Clyde Cluckhohn’s study of individual personality in relation to larger cultural constructs. According to Cluckhohn we play various roles at once, keeping allegiance to our own identity as well as relationships to others. The work in the exhibition is united by this malleable concept of self and our inherent desires to both fit in and stand out. Through fifteen different artists’ perspectives this collection of artworks examine the subtle overlapping of roles we all play as connected individuals and members of a larger society.
