RMCAD is pleased to welcome military war artist, Mike Fay to campus on Tuesday, April 8, at 9 a.m.. Mike will give a special lecture in the Mary Harris Auditorium about his career in art and the history of artists in the military.
Mike, an ex-Marine and artist, is an expert in the subject of military art. He received his MFA in Illustration at the University of Hartford and currently has been working on a series of exhibitions centered on the Joe Bonham Project. The project embodies efforts of wartime through illustration to document the struggles of U.S. service personnel undergoing rehabilitation after traumatic war injuries.
His work has also been recognized by large publications such as the New York Times, Guardian (UK) and Fox News. His work has been shown at the National Museum of the Marine Corps.
