On Saturday, November 9 from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., RMCAD will host RMCAD Create Day. Prospective students can participate in workshops led by faculty to gain experience and build an understanding of the creative possibilities in art and design. Family and friends will also be able to interact with faculty, as well as Career Services. After the event, there will be an optional campus tour and a chance to engage with financial aid advisors and the admissions team. Feel free to bring in your artwork for tips from admissions counselors on building your portfolio.
Participants can participate in two workshops. Options include: • 3D Modeling: After a live demo of 3D modeling techniques with industry-standard software, create your own character/creature using ZBrush. • Illustration: Animals as Humans, “The Forced Connection.” Give our four legged friends a human experience. • Screen Printing: Have fun creating your own customized t-shirt while screen printing with paint. • Graphic Design: Create digital images. Check-in will begin promptly at 10:30am. Breakfast will be provided. This event is free of charge.
