RMCAD is proud to host the Denver Green Build Hack-a-thon on Saturday, June 1, 2013, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Participants in this one-day event will overhaul the green building workforce, accelerate access to affordable green buildings and gain both knowledge and fun.
Participants will work on five to ten community projects. Tasks include evaluating LEED credit and green building strategy and assisting participating organizations in the design and green consulting of a real-world LEED project. Upon completion, participants will be qualified for any LEED accreditation exam, have eight hours of LEED Credential Maintenance under their belts and gain experience working on a LEED Platinum project. Continuing education and community service hours are also available.
