Meet Tim Decker

November 6th- Visiting Alumni Tim Decker will give an all campus talk in the Auditorium from 1:00-2:30pm.

November 7th- 11-12pm- Tim Decker will be in the café- feel free to stop by and ask him questions.

Tim Decker has played an important role in children’s entertainment over the past decade. With extensive experience in game animation, character design and children's television, Tim has taken on the roles of animation director for Disney Interactive, lead animator for Knowledge Adventure, and layout artist/animator for the award winning television series “The Simpson's!” He has also appeared on many episodes of the “Imagination Station” as a guest artist inspiring children in the art of animation and cartooning.

Throughout his career, Tim has won numerous gaming awards from PC Magazine, Communication Arts Magazine, Family Magazine, the Academy of Arts and Sciences and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

Tim has a Bachelor's degree in Character Animation/Film from California Institute of the arts (Cal Arts) and an Associate’s degree in Illustration from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. At present Tim has just returned from working in India on animation and is teaching at the University of Wisconsin.
