Gallery Hours: Monday through Saturday, Noon - 5:00 pm.
The Philip J. Steele Gallery is located in the Mary K. Harris Auditorium Building on the east end of the RMCAD campus.
Upcoming Exhibits:
Paralleled II
Exhibition: May 23 - July 19, 2008
Reception: May 23, 2008, 6-9 pm
The West Gallery showcases the earthly sculptures by David Vertacnik. Vertacnik’s works involve the earth by incorporating found objects as well as materials that come from the earth (like forged steel and clay).
The East Gallery showcases ethereal works by Mary Ehrin. Ehrin’s uber feminine artworks incorporate materials like fuchsia ostrich feathers and crystals. Her sensual works exude delicacy and refinement.
Paralleled: The Earthly and The Ethereal is an exhibition that celebrates the many different ways that artists express their voices through their choice of material.
