Exhibition: May 23 - July 19, 2008
Reception: May 23, 2008, 6-9 pm

The second in the Paralleled series: The Earthly and The Ethereal opens to the public on May 23, 2008. A reception for the artists is on Friday, May 23rd from 6 pm until 9 pm.

The West Gallery showcases the earthly sculptures by David Vertacnik. Vertacnik’s works involve the earth by incorporating found objects as well as materials that come from the earth (like forged steel and clay).

The East Gallery showcases ethereal works by Mary Ehrin. Ehrin’s uber feminine artworks incorporate materials like fuchsia ostrich feathers and crystals. Her sensual works exude delicacy and refinement.
