Our Fine Arts faculty encourages students to take risks, to reveal their thoughts, to be inventive and supportive of each other. As noted professionals in their own rights with extensive records of exhibiting their work, our instructors seek to help students become active members of the global artistic community.

Ms. Vaughan has exhibited sculptural installations, mixed media conceptual projects and installations in:

She has been published in the Chicago Art Journal and KnitKnit. Ms. Vaughan also received state grants from the Colorado Council on the Arts and Humanities and the Ohio Arts Council.

Clark Richert
Head of Painting

Mr. Richert's group and solo gallery exhibitions span the last 25 years. In addition to public and corporate commissions, his work can be found in the following collections:

Mr. Richert's work is currently represented in the following galleries:

Gary Emrich
Head of Photography + Video Art
- MFA, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago
- BA, political science from the University of Colorado at Boulder
Gary has his own successful video production company and has been a photography instructor with Metropolitan State College and University of Colorado at Denver. He's an exhibiting multi-media artist and a recipient of many scholarships and grants.
His work is represented in numerous public collections, including:

Martha Russo
- MFA, University of Colorado at Boulder
- BA, Psychology and Developmental Biology, Princeton University
Ms. Russo taught at Princeton University, Massachusetts College of Art, and MIT. She is also a recipient of the Graduate Student Excellence in Teaching Award.
Ms. Russo has received numerous grants, including a Colorado Council for the Arts Artist Fellowship Grant. She actively exhibits her work nationally and internationally.

Randy Brown
Randy’s career as an artist spans 25 years, and his works can be found within the collections of the Denver Art Museum and over forty major corporations and individuals. He has shown nationally and internationally in more than 60 museum and gallery exhibitions, and has consistently received widespread acclaim for his studies of iconic references of being human.
He has received residency fellowships and grants from the MacDowell Colony for the Arts, the Villa Montalvo Center for the Arts, and the Museum of Outdoor Arts. He has curated exhibitions for The Invisible Museum and has served as editor of Eye-Level Magazine, an arts publication distributed nationally and internationally.
