When I sit and stare I observe an elegant, radial beauty in life; I create art in hopes that it will make you take notice, too.
My love to sit and stare has given birth to a process of creation with a desire to waste nothing. When my hands are busy I am more present in my body, I sit and stare in a way that deepens my connection with the universe and celebrates being in time and space. I envision my clay process as a life cycle; fresh porcelain is awakened by my hands and shaped into the platters that I love to carve, the remnants are morphed into an array of objects until nothing remains.
I invite you to sit, stare, and observe.
