Flieder + Hummel Exhibition

Prayer Posies

Illustration alums Cherish Flieder and Benjamin Hummel show their work for their latest collaborative project: a children’s book of poetry. The book—also called Prayer Posies—is by Barbee Lux and features Cherish and Benjamin’s work on every page.

This is the first time the Alumni Gallery will host Illustration graduates. The husband-and-wife team will be exhibiting their original artwork as well as reproductions of the final pieces in the book. It will be a chance for visitors to gain insight into the process of illustration and the evolution of the work as it is refined and reworked.
