The Image Space Object Conference is unique because it engages design professionals from all disciplines to work on projects in teams and present their results at the end of 3 days. Designing innovation requires a combination of understanding, inspiration, collaboration and communication, so each participant is part of an active hands-on workshop experience that inspires great ideas and gives them effective new design tools and strategic brand methods that can be added to their existing design process.
Comments coming from the students were..."the best experiece I've ever had as a design student." " I will reference this experience throughout my career." These were some of the best speakers I've ever heard present their design methods and processes in a fun and valuable way".
2007 ISO Speakers: (left to right) Connie Birdsall, Michael Mages, Chris Conley, Hugh Graham, Tucker Viemeister, Fred Murrell, Hugh Dubberly, Kathy and Mike McCoy
The student team is a critical part of this conference because they
meet early to design the identity, marketing materials, environmental
signage/experiences, conference concept posters and speaker
presentation design formats. They are a critical part of the conference
because they also participate as full members of the design teams and
work closely with all of the professional designers to develop ideas,
concepts and final solutions.
