In 2007 Kalene and Dan Wise (GD '99) opened the Open Space gallery http://www.openspacebeacon.com in Beacon, NY. The space is also home to their studio, Thundercut http://www.thundercut.com, and Sherbert magazine http://www.sherbertmagazine.com.
They had a movie accepted into the Impakt Firm Festival, which toured around the Netherlands. They also had design work in Rotterdam, Holland sponsored by Absolut Vodka called Absolut Search.
The box Kalene designed for the 2006 RMCAD Art Box Bash was recently featured in a book called Tactile published by die gestalten. The image of the box can be found on page 51.
Kalene won an award in 2005 for a project she worked on for the Museum of the City of New York. They had a baby in May 2007, and named their son Easton Coney Weise.
