Summer Camps

Pre-college Summer Camps at RMCAD offer high school students the chance to see what our BFA programs are all about before they enter college. With week-long non-credit camps in five different topics, campers can test out a major or two, expand their artistic skills, and see what life on a college campus is really like.

Camp attendees who eventually enroll at RMCAD as full-time students are eligible for a one-time $610 credit toward their tuition to offset the cost of the camp.

Our summer camps are a great way to explore not only the RMCAD campus, but some of the amazing activities and locations Denver has to offer. As part of our evening activities, students might attend a Colorado Rockies game, go to Film on the Rocks at Red Rocks Amphitheater, or visit the Denver Art Museum or Zoo.

Program fee for non-credit camps and workshops covers all instruction, art supplies, campus transportation and lunch for five days. Lodging fee for non-credit camps and workshops covers five night stay at residence apartments, continental breakfast, dinner, bed linens and towels, evening activities, residence chaperone and additional campus transportation. Day campers wishing to participate in the dinners and evening activities may do so by either paying their own way, or paying the Day Camper Activity Bundle weekly rate of $100.
