Study Interior Design Online
Beginning Fall 2010 RMCAD will offer the complete Interior Design BFA program online. Full program details will be provided, and enrollment will open later this summer.

In RMCAD's Interior Design programs you'll learn the theories and skills necessary for professional practice from faculty who are practicing design professionals and educators. We approach interior design as an extension of the arts while being grounded in the social and natural sciences of psychology, sociology, anthropology, ecology, and biology.
Program subject highlights include:
- drafting
- textiles
- materials
- architectural history
- computer aided design (CAD)
- lighting + furniture design
- cost estimating + contracts
- senior-year internship
RMCAD also offers a unique program of study through our Green Design Area of Emphasis. The Green Design Area of Emphasis provides an in-depth exploration of the methods, processes and principles of green design and sustainability.
When you graduate, you'll be prepared to work as a skilled, ethical, environmentally-responsible professional designer committed to improving the health, safety and welfare of the public while embracing your own vision and creativity.

*The on-ground professional Interior Design BFA program is fully accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA). Both the on-ground and online BFA programs share the same curriculum and it is RMCAD's goal to achieve CIDA accreditation for the online program in the future.
