RMCAD Celebrates Largest Fall Enrollment

Classes are officially underway for the Fall 2014 Semester. With more than 1,100 on-campus and online students, RMCAD’s faculty and staff are happily met with the largest student body in the college’s history.

To initiate the student body to its celebrated community-oriented focus, RMCAD is hosting a string of daily events for ‘Welcome Week.’
The events are as follows:

Tuesday, 9/2 @ 12PM—Carpenter Lawn
Mix and Mingle: Full breakfast bar and raffle

Wednesday, 9/3 @ 6:30PM—Mary Harris Auditorium
Movie screening: ‘Hedwig and the Angry Inch’ (free event, friends and family welcome)

Thursday, 9/4 @ 1PM—Circle Drive
Resource Fair: Network with local businesses & organizations/volunteer opportunities

Friday, 9/5 @ 6PM—Santa Fe Drive
First Friday Art Walk: Enjoy over 60 participating galleries in the Santa Fe Art District

With the onset of a new student population, uncompromised class setting intimacy and the addition of two brand-new BFA programs, RMCAD students, faculty and staff alike can expect a semester rich with possibility and creative progression.
