RMCAD Faculty member Julie Puma and students Alexa Lutz and Casey Colwell will explore the issues of privacy with their exhibition Shhhhh at the Ice Cube Gallery. The opening reception will be held Friday, June 28, 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. The exhibition runs from June 27 to July 20, 2013.

Shhhhh is an exhibition exploring ideas of privacy, personal history and secrets. Julie Puma, faculty member at RMCAD, will be displaying photography centering around the theme of dualities in pre-teenagers. Alexa Lutz, a full-time student in the fine arts department at RMCAD, will be presenting drawings based on the idea that nothing is private. She is exploring the history and privacy issues around the ownership of the social security number. Casey Colwell, also a full-time student in the fine arts department, is displaying mixed media narratives based on family history.
