In this camp, students will learn the processes involved in creating, designing, illustrating, animating and sculpting two and three-dimensional characters. Participants will start with a word list describing characteristics such as age, sex, personality, wealth, race, disabilities, etc. With this list, they will create pencil sketches of their characters. From these sketches, students will create an illustrated book, a traditional animation and a sculpted version of their character. Students will also learn how these skills can be applied to different fields of study, including illustration, animation and sculpture.
