RMCAD Sponsors The Art Of War Project

RMCAD is thrilled to be sponsoring The Art of War Project, a Denver-based organization operated by Curt Bean. RMCAD will provide three months of art supplies to the organization and additional benefits in the future.

The Art of War’s mission is to inspire hope and contribute to the health and well being of American Veterans dealing with PTSD. The project was created by former Army sniper, Curt Bean, who himself dealt with PTSD. He realized that art was a great outlet for channeling his anxiety and anger and now aims to spread the word to other veterans dealing with similar issues.

Until now, Bean has been funding The Art of War Project by himself through Art of War T-shirt and hat sales. RMCAD is please to back the project by providing art supplies for the classes.

Bean offers art classes to hospitalized veterans and also provides instruction at for veterans at Hope Tank, a charitable retail store. In addition to art, Bean’s classes provide veterans with an opportunity to learn more about other resources available for dealing with PTSD.
