MEET YOUR MENTORS.
Elite artists and designers. Up close and personal.
RMCAD is proud to offer a one-of-a-kind Visiting Artist, Scholar, and Designer (VASD) program, as well as an accompanying Public Lecture Series. The VASD Program is an interdisciplinary initiative that is culturally inclusive, intellectually expansive, and ultimately enriches the RMCAD experience for the entire student community, regardless of your degree program.
An integral part of the educational mission of RMCAD, the VASD Program fosters vision, creativity, and innovation by bringing leading national and international artists, scholars, and designers to campus. The program provides direct access to contemporary art, design, and culture through an inspiring and comparative framework.
The VASD Program also opens RMCAD’s doors to the Denver metro community with its new Public Lecture Series, inviting the public to attend a variety of free evening lectures presented by our roster of distinguished guests. These guests also engage with RMCAD students and faculty through private events, such as studio visits, gallery talks, and workshops. Bringing artists, scholars, and designers to campus each term, VASD creates an inter-disciplinary environment that fosters artistic appreciation and critical inquiry.
