If you are a student who will be strictly taking online classes, please complete the online orientation module.
On-Campus Orientation Information and Questions
Our on-campus orientation is meant for students who will be taking on-campus classes during their time at RMCAD. This program is an in-person orientation that only needs to be attended by those students who are enrolled in campus classes. Attendance at on-campus orientation is highly recommended and encouraged.
Orientation for campus students beginning their classes in the 2017 Fall A term (August 28) will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 with an optional civic engagement day and student BBQ on Saturday, August 26, 2017. You will receive additional information and a full schedule upon check-in, but please plan on being present on campus for your Orientation from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The program for the day on Friday will include presentations from important departments, lunch with your department chair, hands-on technology training and in-depth introduction to your first-year courses.
On Saturday, you will have the chance to return to campus and participate in a number of different civic engagement experiences, including work with 40 West Arts District, a day working with puppies and kittens at Paws Co Adoption Center, or a day spent helping our neighbors in the garden at Creekside. We will finish the day with a free BBQ for everyone that participates.
Please RSVP here by Wednesday, August 23, 2017 by the end of the day (5pm) on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 if you would like to attend. You will receive a confirmation email and more details once we receive your RSVP.
