As a student you will be encouraged to lead a balanced life. Many RMCAD students spend much of their free-time working on their art. But we also offer ongoing opportunities to participate in cultural, entertainment and recreation opportunities, both on and off campus.
We sponsor many events for students each week – everything from movie nights to barbecues to bowling parties. All of the ideas for events come directly from student suggestions.
Students sharing common interests or hobbies can come together as a recognized student organization. Student organizations are funded through the Student Government Association and may plan events or programs for fellow RMCAD students.
New clubs are being formed all the time. The following are currently active:
Athletics Club
The Athletics Club organizes events and activities throughout the year that help promote a healthy lifestyle. There’s something for students of all ability levels in which to participate.
Dance Club
The Dance club meets twice a week during the lunch break to practice various forms of dancing from Salsa to Ballroom to hip-hop to break dancing. The club focuses on sharing the art and skill of dance with one another in a safe and positive atmosphere. All ability levels are welcome
