RMCAD’s Summer Camp provides high school students with the opportunity to engage in a week-long workshop and create an original piece of art to add to their portfolio. Students can choose between two projects—a tunnel book or a creative self-portrait—to complete during the week of camp.
Self-examination and critical thinking are essential practices to learn as an artist. Students can explore this idea through the process of creating a tunnel book.
For this project, students will make artwork that requires sequentially ordered procedures and specified media to achieve intended results while exploring their ideas through visual-thinking and problem-solving skills in a sketchbook or journal.

The total camp cost is $250 per student, which includes supplies and a $100 non-refundable deposit. There are only 20 spots available, so register ASAP!
