The Visiting Artist, Scholar, and Designer Program

Visitor Information

VASD Program lectures are held weekday evenings, with a reception at 6:00 p.m. and lecture promptly at 6:30 p.m. in the historic Mary Harris Auditorium on the RMCAD campus, unless otherwise noted.

All lectures are FREE and open to the public and pre-event registration is highly encouraged. Please register for all public VASD Program events. Specific registration information for each event is provided on the specific event page.​

All seating in our auditorium is general admission (no assigned seating). Please arrive on time as any unclaimed seating will be made available to other guests at 6:40pm.

Free public parking for VASD Program lectures and events is available on campus, and will be designated with event parking signage. Accessible parking is located behind the Rotunda building, indicated in blue on the map below.

To access accessible parking:
Enter the RMCAD campus at the main entrance on Pierce Street. Take a right at the stop sign. Continue through the roundabout. Park in this lot directly south of the Rotunda building. The Mary Harris Auditorium will be the building to the right.
