Rotunda Gallery
Each year the Illustration Department selects and features outstanding student work from the prior year in what is known as the Red Shoe Awards + Exhibition. Now in its seventh year, the Red Shoe Awards recognizes the efforts of students and faculty in the Illustration Department in 2024. Images have been selected and will be displayed in digital and physical formats. The top 30 images are featured in a printed catalog and in physical form on campus. This year the works will be displayed in the Rotunda Gallery from November 8 – December 13. The gallery reception will be held on Friday, November 15 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. MST. All are invited to visit the gallery and see the work. Awards will be announced that evening in the following categories: Best of Show, Best Drawing, Best Design, Best Storytelling, Most Innovative, and Best Use of Media.
