About the Speaker:
Executive Director of the Denver Food Rescue, Christine Alford, has been a Five-Points resident for the past decade. During her time in Denver, she has worked with several schools and families in the Denver Public School system by providing them with the resources needed to become self-sufficient. Alford is excited to continue providing healthy food for communities in and around Denver while educating others on healthy choices, food systems and sustainability. Learn about her creative approach that Denver Food Rescue is taking to end food waste this Friday at the free event.
