ABOUT BRUCE MACKH
Bruce Mackh earned a PhD in Critical Studies from Texas Tech University in 2011. He also has a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2006) and an MFA from Tulane University (2008). Beginning in 2012, Bruce served as the Director of the Mellon Research Project at the University of Michigan, Arts Engine. Mackh is also an accomplished photographer, and his largest collection of images is part of the permanent collection of the Louisiana State Museum. He is a member of numerous professional organizations including the College Art Association and the National Council of Arts Administrators, which awarded him a prestigious 2014/2015 Emerging Arts Administration Fellowship. Bruce has a strong interest in curriculum development, pedagogy, and faculty development. He has also earned a reputation as an effective curricular and programmatic consultant.
ABOUT JEROME TUTTLE
Jerry Tuttle is an online adjunct math teacher, teaching accounting and statistics. He grew up in New York City, and he holds a BA in math from Queens College and a Masters in math from the University of Virginia. He worked for 40 years as an insurance company actuary before going back to school to earn a Masters in Educational Technology at age 65. He speaks at math teacher conferences on many topics including Copyright in Teaching. He tutors prospective K-12 teachers face-to-face for their Praxis math exam, and he has written a Praxis review book. Jerry believes he incorporates three unusual things in his online teaching that he will share in his talk.

The Faculty Focus Series provides an opportunity to highlight and celebrate RMCAD faculty’s work and accomplishments as artists, researchers, and practitioners. Throughout this exciting and ongoing series, faculty members provide insight into their creative endeavors outside of the classroom and how those activities influence and energize their expertise and leadership within the RMCAD community.
