This event will be hosted virtually via Zoom.

Does your blank sketchbook inspire you or make you anxious? In this three part workshop series, Fashion Design Associate Professor Mung Lar Lam, will discuss what a fashion sketchbook is used for, the types of books, paper and media to use to increase creativity, and most importantly, some ideas for filling your sketchbook for fashion design development. In this first sketchbook series, the focus will be on inspiring collaging techniques from the Dada, Surrealist and Nouveau Realist art movements to take your creativity to the next level. The concepts in this workshop can also be applied to other disciplines, all departments welcome!
