This event will be hosted virtually via Zoom.

“It is often we come the closest to the essence of an artist in his or her sketchbooks…providing an intimate insight into their magical mind.” – Eugene Delacroix

In this three-part workshop series, Fashion Design Associate Professor Mung Lar Lam will discuss what a fashion sketchbook is used for, the types of books, paper and media to use to increase creativity, and most importantly, some ideas for filling your sketchbook for fashion design development.

In this third sketchbook series, the focus will be on explorations and development in the form of serial iterations, boundless experimentation and sampling for tangible fashion design silhouettes, textiles development, construction ideas and garment details. The concepts in this workshop can also be applied to other disciplines, all departments welcome!
