Ever been curious about some form of puppetry, but don’t know where to start? The RMPG is a Colorado based guild of professional and novice puppeteers, makers and lovers of story telling of all ages. Not only are RMCAD and the RMPG providing all the materials, and there are so many materials… different types of googly eyes, yarn, synthetic hair, paint, paper, fabric, Styrofoam, cardboard, straws, spoons, fur… so many materials, and tools, but we also will have several maker’s, artists and performers there to talk about their own craft, guild you to making stick, shadow, felt and marionette puppets and are glad to share all their secrets. Just kidding, we are not magicians, we have no secrets. It will literally be all out on the table. There will be several short presentations throughout while giving you a chance to eat and lots of time and space to look at examples, ask questions and gather materials.
