Join us in part 2 of a 3 part online faculty development series: Mindful + Artful Thinking for Teaching + Learning.

Learn research-based frameworks that quickly and easily integrate into any curriculum, online or on-ground. These frameworks are great for discussions, critiques, reflections, and writing. These frameworks can promote creative, mindful thinking skills, such as:
-Respectful and open-minded dialogue
-Deep listening, observation, and reflection
-Empathy and taking multiple perspectives
-Critical thinking
-Investigating and asking relevant, generative questions

Sara Hiris, M.Ed. is an educator and consultant working at the nexus of wellness, education, creativity and personal growth. This past year her work included leading weekly meditation and mindfulness seminars, developing programs for Mindful Mentorship™, Mindful Artwork, and Mindful Pedagogy. She serves as affiliate faculty and a subject matter expert for RMCAD’s Art Education Department, writing articles about life’s many transitions. Sara is a certified yoga teacher and earned an M.Ed. with a focus in the Arts from Harvard University and a B.A. in Human Biology with a focus in Holistic Health from Stanford University.
