Mehreen Bazm will be sharing some of the most important practices in her 7-year career working as a Freelance Motion Graphics Animator. Join her to understand do’s and don’ts of finding a job and preparing for successful interviews. In a world of tough competition, how does one stand out from the rest? How to prepare for your much-awaited career after you graduate? Where to start and how to look for a job? How to enhance your skills and take them to the next level and beyond. Understand animation pipelines and the collaborative nature of the industry. We will have Q & A sessions in the end so bring along any questions! Students of all majors are welcome!
Mehreen teaches RMCAD’s 2D animation online program. She graduated with an undergrad in Graphic Design and a Master’s Degree in Motion Media Design from SCAD. After graduating, Mehreen started her career in Manhattan & Brooklyn, NY where she was given the opportunity to work with well-reputed companies such as Motion Picture Company-NY, Vice Media HBO, NBC Universal, Hogarth Worldwide, Ogilvy & Mather, Beehive, Loyal Kaspar, Click 3x, Spontaneous, Sirius XM, Transistors Studios, Animated Storyboards, Joule, Now what, Launch/Charlex, Eyeball. Now she resides in Denver, Colorado freelancing with companies like Starz Entertainment, Motive Design Studio, Spillt Agency, Milkhaus, Blue Pony, Indiana and many more!
