This event series will be hosted virtually via Zoom.

Ever since she was young, Brittney Owens has been passionate about bringing characters to life through drawings, flip books and animation software. After graduating from RMCAD in 2011, she began freelancing on tv shows, commercials and movies as a 2D animator and eventually a lead animator. Then in 2016, she started working as a 3D animator on the feature film “The Snow Queen 3: Fire and Ice.” Following that she animated on two Barbie movies: “Barbie Video Game Hero” and “Barbie Dolphin Magic.” Afterwards she became a senior animator on “Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures” and multiple Netflix “Super Monsters” specials. Brittney quickly became a lead animator and then an animation director on the Disney Junior series “T.O.T.S.” Currently, she is an animator at Sony Pictures Imageworks.
