Dr. Helms is an active researcher and practitioner in the field of instructional design and technology. He has experience teaching in higher education; designing online, blended, and on ground curricula; and helping faculty in higher education and K12 use technology to enhance their teaching and student learning. He is published in several peer-reviewed journals and presents at conferences in the field of education and instructional design.
