This is a private scholarship program initiated by Philip J. Steele, founder of RMCAD. The scholarship awards are given to both full-time and part-time students who have proven themselves through quality work and effort. The awards are based on portfolio, essay, cumulative grade point average, citizenship, community involvement, and exemplary performance.

Additionally, five $700 Merit Scholarships will be awarded to the next five high scoring applicants.

The award covers regular full or part-time tuition only.
