Welcome to RMCAD! We’re excited to bring you into our community of creatives. Here at RMCAD, we have an Orientation program that is designed to ensure that you will begin your classes equipped with the tools and knowledge to be successful.
If you are a student who will be enrolled in on-campus classes, please be sure to attend the on-campus orientation AND complete the online orientation module.
If you are a student who will be strictly taking online classes, please complete the online orientation module.
On-Campus Orientation Information and Questions
Our on-campus orientation is meant for students who will be taking on-campus classes during their time at RMCAD. This program is an in-person orientation that only needs to be attended by those students who are enrolled in campus classes. Attendance at on-campus orientation is highly recommended and encouraged.
Orientation for campus students beginning their classes in the 2017 Spring C term (February 27) will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017. You will receive specific details about the schedule upon check-in, but please plan on being present on campus for your Orientation from 9:30 a.m. until about 2:30 p.m. The program for the day will include presentations from important departments, lunch with your Department Chair, hands-on technology training and in-depth introduction to your first-year courses.

Our Online Orientation is meant as a tool for all students. This orientation is an online module hosted with in the Learning Management System, or LMS. Even our on-campus students are enrolled in classes in our online platform, so each and every student must complete this module.
