RMCAD Celebrates Largest Graduation in School History

RMCAD Celebrates Largest Graduation in School History

We are pleased to announce the largest graduation ceremony in RMCAD history with more than 300 students eligible to walk. On April 29, three years of RMCAD graduates will walk across the stage at the Gaylord Rockies Hotel. This means that the graduating classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022 will be sharing the ceremony. We are so excited to welcome alumni back to finally celebrate this huge accomplishment along with online students from near and far!

These students have shown true resilience over the past few years, as they have adapted to online or hybrid learning. Although we didn’t get to see all of your smiling faces around campus or witness your exquisite projects come to life, it was an honor to have you a part of the RMCAD family. Your projects speak for themselves and attest to your remarkable talents. To get a first look, we invite you to attend our Spring 2022 Graduation Exhibition, which features art from this year’s graduating students across nine of our departments. Students can take guests after graduation, or the day after, to see artwork from their classmates and themselves on display.

As we look ahead into the bright future, we know that RMCAD students will continue to represent a community of innovation and resilience as they make their impacts in the creative world. RMCAD students have shown strength, hope and compassion during the past few years. Goals have been achieved, friends have been made and challenges have been conquered. Most importantly, RMCAD has produced 300 more creatives who are ready to express themselves artistically in the workforce.

To all of our graduates, even though you are leaving RMCAD, you still have the awesome opportunity to continue to stay connected as an alumni. Be sure to check out The Alumni Resources to learn more about the benefits of being a RMCAD alumni. As a graduate, you have access to our CreativeStudy subscription, RMCAD’s online job board, campus facilities and labs as well as class auditing. You can also stay connected with other alumni to discuss job opportunities and success stories on our alumni app or Facebook page.

For those of you walking in 2022, you were always an artist, but now your skills have been further refined and polished. It is our goal to send our students out into the world with the tools to be successful in your future careers. Graduation is a celebration of your scholarly journey, but it is also a ceremony to celebrate all your hours of hard work. Congratulations to all of our RMCAD graduates!

If you are eligible to walk or would like to attend graduation, please contact registrar@rmcad.edu for more information.
