RMCAD Offers Scholarships To Lakewood Residents

In an effort to expand the art and design opportunities in our community, Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design has begun offering scholarships to Lakewood residents.

Scholarships are available to a variety of students. Whether you’re seeking a degree or want to take a single course, RMCAD has a scholarship option to suit your needs. The following options are available:

Degree Seeking
-Students seeking an undergraduate degree (BFA) are eligible for $5,000
-Students seeking a graduate degree (MA) are eligible for $2,000
Non-Degree Seeking
-Students seeking credit but not wishing to earn a degree at RMCAD are eligible for $400 per credit hour.
-Students who wish to audit but not earn credit for a course are eligible for $250 per credit hour.

To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be able to prove residency in Lakewood for one year and enroll in summer courses. Current RMCAD students are not eligible. Scholarships will roll over each term as long as continuous enrollment is maintained in 12 or more credit hours. Audit opportunities are offered on a space-available basis.
